We decided to create a place for news that is weird, which will include serious stories that will make you laugh a little and perhaps get the gears in your head spinning as well. We will have Breaking news for those things that deem it, such as product recalls and things that may be life threatening.
We hope to blend in humor of strange, bazaar and weird news as well to give you a few laughs. We are getting close to coming alive and I want to thank those of you that received our mailer and sent in stories. Some of them were really awesome, some were… err well perhaps better left unsaid 
News weird was actually over whelmed with some 300+ emails of some really off the wall juicy stories. One thing I have to emphasize on is when you submit your stories to (stories @ newswerid . com) please include in the subject line the category you think it best fits into so it get forwarded to the correct editor. Example “How to make a solar powered toaster” would go into a category of “Weird how to’s” If a category does not already exist it will still help us to narrow down the right person for your article, might even make a category out of your suggestion.
So keep the cool articles coming and remember you could be invited to be an author on news weird magazine.
