The modern woman changing light bulbs at home

Today’s women can do much more then cook, clean and give birth to babies. More and more women are working in industries once deemed men only such as construction and electricians. The modern woman changing light bulbs at home is becoming quiet the norm.

The modern woman is not afraid to climb that ladder and change out those bulbs, I'm always happy to hold the ladder to make sure she doesn't fall.

Some of us men don’t even bother to lift a finger to help her change the bulbs. In fact we just sit there and stare with out mouths opened in awe. Think of women changing light bulbs as the new spectator sport. I admit I keep a stash of old burned out bulbs and when she isn’t looking I replace a good bulb with a bad one, just so I can watch her change it, mean huh?

OK, call me a male chauvinist pig I don’t care. She is blond and after 5 years of changing every bulb in the house almost daily, has never questioned the oddity of the frequency. I just say they don’t make things like they use to. When was the last time your modern woman changed out the bulbs? Let her try, you might find she is far more handy than you had thought.
