What is body piercing anyway? Simple, pick a body part such as nose, ears, lips, tongue, belly button and more, poke a hole in it with a giant needle or ice pick and insert a piece of jewelry. Mummified bodies with pierced ears have been discovered, including the oldest mummified body discovered to date, the 5,300 year-old Ötzi the Iceman.

For whatever reason people find to decorate the their bodies, todays body art is only limited to ones imagination. Here is a rather interesting ribbon corset body piercing of a young woman. The corset piercing looks painful to me and dangerous to get snagged on things. Imagine trying to sleep on your back with all those metal rings in your back. I guess in the name or art it is worth it.
